Lake Perdikas - Kozani, Λίμνη Περδίκκα - Κοζάνη.
Taken with my Canon 450D (Unmodified), Hoya R72 Infrared filter used and Canon Digital Photo Processing Software in order to convert CR2 images to TIFF (otherwise Bridge - Photoshop realize false white balance on the photos). The switch from red to blue channels and the opposite was made with Photoshop of course.
Exposure was 30 secs, kit lens 18-55 and the weather was perfect. Almost no wind at all (that is why the clouds are still).

Sorry what i wanted to tell was, when using IR filter if you receive the leaves' color as this red, how did it happen the clouds to be this white? Hope i mean it this time...Is there a massive development over this frame or you just swapped the channels and finished? I wonder how did the clouds stand still with a 30 sec exposure :) I am trying to get used to IR photography and also use a Hoya R72 with Nikon and getting mad :)

How did you get the clouds this white with an infrared filter?

It is so long ago now my friend, i don't really remember ...
Ok, don't misunderstand me, but what is really the color of the clouds with an infrared filter?
If it is not too much white then boosting the contrast does the job i can say.
Thanks for stopping by ... :sun:
